Trinity has been an amazing home for many students over the years and I cannot recommend the school highly enough!

Parent (5/5)

We love this school! My daughter's skill level in both reading and math is outstanding. She loves every subject. The teachers here sincerely care about your children. I feel like they have a vested interest in my daughter's well being, not just as a student but as a person.

Parent (5/5)

My son has been at Trinity since preschool, and is now a Junior in high school. We love the school. The teachers are very caring. The students are challenged academically. The students thrive in this Christian atmosphere. Love, love, love this school.

Cascades Academy is amazing! The balance between social-emotional learning and academics is perfect, and my son is thriving. He enjoys going to school every day, and as a parent I couldn't be happier. We love the storyline curriculum, as well as experiential learning approach, which includes exploring the beautiful campus and canyon, as well as outdoor and traveling school (which my son gets to experience this year, starting in second grade!). But what truly makes the school magical are the incredible teachers. They go above and beyond to support each child and create a safe environment for them to learn explore their passions, and the specialists (STEM, PE, music, Spanish, performing arts, art, etc.) are outstanding!

We had high hopes in going to this school. My child has a disability and I had many meetings, before school began and once it began. I felt I had to prove my son's disability and what we talked about wasn't communicated to the teachers, which put him at risk. He wasn't getting the accommodations he needed and I brought it up multiple times. They suggested unsafe solutions that were not appropriate to his being a 1st grader. I am a biracial parent and they used my first parent-teacher conference to assess if we have guns at home. I don't. I found out they did this to a Latino family, too, and a parent from SE Asia. My closest friend there does have guns in her home, but she was never asked. (She has blonde hair and blue eyes.) They tout themselves as liberal but most, if not all, of the families of color we started with, left. I was shocked to be treated in this way. KIds threw my son's backpack in the pond and it wasn't noticed until he brought it home and I asked why it was wet. A lot of bullying was normalized. A teacher wrote me a letter to let me know it was going on and the school reprimanded him for "not having boundaries." I knew it was going on and had asked about it and the school took the stance that it wasn't happening. They said my child could see the school counselor instead of the kids who were bullying. Because my child was new, kids would come up to him and scream in his face. It seemed renegade, wild, lawless, in the school. While it didn't happen to us, we knew of a child who would climb under bathroom stalls and act in an inappropriate way. We were glad to leave. They were glad to see us go.

My children have attended both the elementary school and middle school at Cascades Academy. My family has grown with the school and have had the opportunity to be a part of its traditions and growth. They take great pride in their values and live them every day. My children have grown to be well rounded, considerate people who still continue to have a love for learning because of the way the school has fostered this in them. They enjoy going to school because their teachers care, but also because they interact with their peers in meaningful ways. Each class allows for students to discuss what they experience and how their research or conversations impact them or the environment around them. Our family feels safe and heard at Cascades Academy and would recommend it to others looking for a caring and positive environment for their children.

Best school and amazing teachers I truely couldn't imagine my life hadn't they been in it. They were more like family than teachers to me.

I went here for a short but wonderful 1 1/2 years, left second semester of my sophomore year and I just say, it's a lovely school. The staff is amazing but it does depend on what you look for in staff members, as they're not strict and act like high schoolers themselves while still being kind and helpful. The building is new and one of the most gorgeous I've ever seen, the area surrounding is nature filled and just lovely. Kids do tend to skip, very often, as the staff isn't very strict when it comes down to it unless you skip constantly. It's an open campus which is a score but I have one issue that just makes it hard to give it a perfect rating, and that's the teaching styles. You cover one subject for a VERY LONG TIME, unless in A.P classes, they really draw out the units which honestly made it more difficult for me to learn as I found myself spacing off for days as the teachers went over the same things repeatedly. Besides that, this school is absolutely amazing c:

Amazing school! The staff is extremely educated. The academics are outstanding. The school is well organized. 5 stars!

This school is a reflection of what is wrong with American society. The level of entitlement and narcissism is unbelievable. The students are spoiled and are entitled to everything and they love to put others beneath them. The staff is lazy and rude, and they don't actually care about the students. Yes we do have a good sports program, but the other extracurricular activities are never recognized. The assemblies and dancies are a joke that everybody mocks. The teachers often favor athletes and popular students, and if you are normal they will not want to talk to you.

They don’t care about your students safety they would rather allow people to be assaulted by a classmate and do nothing because the kid has special needs. I’m a victim I was told you can’t sue him for it even though it happened 5 separate times but no one reported it unless it happens again. I have to live in constant fear because of it. I have been diagnosed with ptsd only try to help by changing my classes not his mine because I threatened legal action. I’m not the only one who has suffered but people are just scared to say anything. Well don’t send your kids to this school it really sucks

Parent (1/5)

This school does not feel safe & at the end of the day, keeping kids safe should be the #1 priority. I took my kid out after other kids brought weapons to school & the Principal did nothing about it....

Student (5/5)

I attended this school and would highly recommend to parents and guardians considering having their kids go to school here. There are AP opportunities that allowed me to gain college credit even before graduating. The sense of community and equality that it provided makes me glad that I attended Mtn. View High School rather than one of the other high schools in town.

Great school they have been doing so much for my sun who suffers from schizophrenia.

From the first time I visited Bend High I could tell the teacher and staff were there for the students. There is such a welcome feeling (not found in other schools I visited). This is so very important to open not just doors but the communications it takes to develop relationships for learning. After all that's what we do the rest of our lives. Thank you Bend High !
